Welcome to My Page! :3
If any pages on my portfolios look "odd" (ie; if the windows stretch to the end of the page), restart the page until it looks right, or go back to the front page and click again.I don't know what in the code is causing that :(
I'm pretty into a lot of things. Here's just a few:
- Art
- Animation
- Religion
Meet the artist:
Hello, my name is Adrian. I am a Texas-raised digital painter and sculpter who mainly works in Clip Studio Paint and Blender. I am currently a religious studies and new media arts major with a minor in Japanese at UNT. I chose those majors back when I wasn't sure if I wanted to go into ministry or become an animator (quite the choices, I know). Because I am both a religious studies and new media arts major, I intend on making this website about both art and theology (or at least I'll try to). Who knows, maybe this website could help me get into seminary, lol.
Here's a picture of my dog, Rusty McWiener:

My Art
"I feel like I have a very wide range in art mediums. From oil, digital drawing, color pencil, markers, digital sculpture, and even some experience with 8mm reels and analog video editing. If I had to pick a favorite medium, I've got to say digital sculpture. I can literally bring 3d models to life through animation and the ability to change scene meanings through different camera angles and lighting. As far as traditional art goes, I adore oil paint. Despite some people thinking it's intimidating, I actually find it the easiest to work with. Acryllic usually turns out bad for me, and I have trouble getting the depth I like with watercolor. I used to oil paint all the time with cheap paint and canvases I got from Walmart, but I stopped painting with it for a few years. Now that I am an art major, however, I hope to take the skills I learn to create more personal work with oil paints.
I first got into drawing as a serious hobby when I was in 4th grade. I started off drawing My Little Pony, FNAF, and Attack on Titan characters, and would very proudly show it to my unsuspecting parents. I dread to know if, and how many, of those drawings they've kept. In high school, I got introduced to 3d modeling and sculpting through my animation class. The first year I took animation, we were mostly working through Maya, something I'm supposedly "certified" in (I forgot basically everything dealing with Maya), but in the second year we could chose between Maya and Blender. Blender is really where I found my grounding as a digital sculpture and modeler since it's a bit of a swiss-army knife of 3D programs. My first sculpture was this render of a Hetalia character that was somehow 3 million polygons... I tried to rig it... it was 3 million polygons... On an early 2015 macbook air... Guess how that went. I learned a very important lesson about how polygons affect rigging. I would sit with my laptop and play around with Blender every chance I got during my senior year of high school. Animation class? Well, that was kind of what I was there for. Break times? Yes. Super easy class I didn't even need to pay attention in? Believe it or not. At home? Of course. Everywhere and anywhere, I would sculpt. Of course that passion has died down a lot, especially as university as made me lazy. I would love to get back into the swing of things, which I hope this website will help me with.
